I am planning my 30th birthday very scary but cant do nowt about it! its gonna happen, ive loads planned well 3 events actually, me and friends and are going to the cavery for my birthday meal! cant complain as 5.00 get you a drink and main meal and believe me the plates are stacked full and u r fit for bursting adfterwards! cheap and cheerful thats me! the best bit will be spending it with my close friends! Hands of the gammon people its mine!

On the 24th January, I am planning on going up to Aviemore to see the Husky Sledge run and am also going sledging I am such a big kid at heart but it will be so much fun! My partner and one of my friends is hoping to go snow boarding whilst im not that adventours and am sticking to the sledging hoping my doggy can come too she will love it.

we have been lots of places with her she just loves being out, we were at haperigg reservoir on the A70 at the kirknewton and harbun junction and seen the most glorious frozen reservoir! had to go back the next day with my Daddy camera and take pictures x

Rollo has gotten so big and so affectionate! shes grown more than double the size and double in weight she certainly gonna be one big puppy!!!

It took a while but i had already bought a few bits and thought I was doing well
but then gave up, to make matters worse I hate crowds and get furstrated, We were in marks and spencers last week as my boyfriend was getting measured for a suit,(his bday present from his parents)I have been seeing him for 8 years nearly and have never seen him in a suit,:) had to leave them as the crowds were horrendous so I took my self to the disney store where I was fine.

I went to Glasgow and livingston and came home with nowt but toys for me puppy! oops
I then decided my safest bet would be to shOp on line and was sucessful for few things
thankfully they send to dofferent adresses so my dads recieving my mums and will wrap it for me.

night mare all round never mind!! it will be sorted soon I have made my christmas cards so thats a good thing.

My partner and I have aleady had our christmas present from his parents and she is adoreable, she is a choclate labadore,(The photos were from last week when she was 7 weeks old) only taken me 8 years to pursuade him we wanted a doggy, he hates the puppy stage and says its hard work, but she getting better as she going 4/5 hours instead of 2 to get out in the garden at night, she will get there eventually, even planning on taking her to puppy training classes once she has had her jags and can go out properlly,

well recently I've had shifts coming out of my ears, its been a bit touch and go the last few weeks but picking up slowly thats the NHS for you though.

I did have a few jobs for my photography and have just got the photos back for the clients so getting them delevered and out of the way........

I was at the cinema again for my friends birthday she wanted to go and see James Bond which definatley wasnt my kind of film but i went as thats what she wanted to do and we also went for an all u can eat chinese which was so yummy

this years fireworks we were at Falkirk's Callendar park which had about 5000 people there. so my partner and me uncle stood at the quiet bit and my partner took the photos as i didnt have room to swing a cat yet alone set my tripod up etc etc, we were entertained by the macdonald bros but could hardly hear what they singing. never mnind thanks to Paul for taking them

We had our usual party and it went well, I always panic that it anit gonna work out but always does, we certainly had a few turn up and had a great time i even found my tinkerbell dress at last minute making didnt go to plan, thanks to katrina for lending me the shoes much appreciated!!!

Ive even scrapped my pages already and did them digitaly! I have one more to do either at Angelas crop next week we will see if i have time before hand to do it or not!

as usual the boys didnt dress up but never mind thats them all over they came as themselves next yer will be different

After buying the tickets away back in May it seemed liked agaes away that his concert was! so when October arrived i was mortified as time had flown by so quickly! now its only 3 months till im the big scary 30 but never mind lots planned!

We were at The Byan Adams tour promoting his latest album 11, we were standing and although we were late getting there we still managed to get one from the front row so of course I was in my eleament and was so excitied when he came to the edge of the stage! oh boy if i was that wee bit taller i couldve touched him!
my friend fiona aboustley loved him and knew more songs than she thought and my neighbour who wasnt really a fan came along anyway and had a ball theyve both put there names down for next time:) Its also the only concert that my partner comes with me too. which I must apologise too as we were taking the micky out of him for not dancing or getting excited never mind thanks Paul for taking us mad girlies, and I apologise for giving you a head ache.

Due to unforseen circumstances I couldnt go with Linda but really wanted to go as I loved it last year! my friend Fiona managed to get last minute tickets for the 24th but at 9pm! anyways we went and had a great time,despite the heavy rain it was still good we just went prepared in our wellies. the theme this year was a journey through space I was a little disapointed as after watching the 530 show on ITV they did a coverage there and showed us a space ship coming out of the water which never happened. never mind I also felt there was more to see last year and had wee fountains coming out of the wee lake where this year they never.

my friend was so amazed at our glow stick we get to go round the forest! we were just mad happy girlies no wonder my partner gets a headache when me and fiona get together we never shut up :)

I think the Aliens got to pauls head as he was photographing them but trying to tell me they were real i dont think so

QE2 on her final destination before she retires 7th Oct 08

The QE2 came back to South Queensferry On Tuesday 7Th October 2008, There was A fly past from the Raf but due to low cloud cover and very grey skies we heard them but never seen them, The Tugs Had done a display "the dancing tugs" which was basically water coming from the tugs! There was also meant to have been Fireworks but assume they didnt set them off due to the weather, She did a farewell salute and of she went back to Southampton before she retires as a floating hotel in Dubai.

My Mum and I had gone to Blackpool for the weekend
I hadn't been in about 10 years, but wasn't that suprised when nothing had changed! well only the fact that I never came home with a huge tacky bag full of junk like i did when I was a child! even my mum was shocked.
The sea appeared raging and my Mum was petrified to go on the pier (she not very good with water being underneath her) but I still went on with me camera and took pictures.
Despite the rain and strong winds it didn't stop us getting out and about we must have been mad but never mind, we met my Mum's friends! and then one of my oldest and dearest school friends which was great to catch up,even if he hadnt changed and stole my hat,
amazing on the sunday in the change in the weather you would think it was summer!I even went on the big wheel

god knows why when im petrified of heights but didnt want to show fear in front of my mums friends, i got scared when the wind started blowing our basket and all i could think of was the cold deep sea below.I did take some images from the top! as i didnt have to move i took the pics

my friend and I went up to Callander for a girlie drive and lunch and afternoon of feeding the ducks!
We had ball and enjoyed such a lovely lunch I want to go back for cheesecake!it was so yummy
I fell in love with the local chippy sign god knows why but we were tourists for the day

My friend Sally and I went to the film The duchess if you like your period dramas you would probably like this.................... we certianly did, and now Sally all excited as she wants to see the new Richard Gere film hes not changed well doesnt appear to have changed.

Also this week I went to se ethe flats in sighthill Edinburgh being blown up due to a new housing development happening and there tearing down a few old flats and making new ones, this is an experiience I wont forget in A hurry, the dynamite was that loud it made me jump but amazing to watch.

Saturday 13th seen me at Angelas crop in stone house, i managed 3 pages and the tag challenge set by Angela, i came home at 1930 as i was so shattered at not sleeping for nights before!

Paul my partner was at Leuchars Air show so he had pinched my camera for the day!

I came home to find Damien our newest pet had passed away, due to what they call a reptile virus poor wee mite we only had him a month but hopefully he resting in peace in the plant pot beside my bearded dragon that passed away last october!

Last Wednesday was meant to be the start of camera club, but I had a visitor at last minute, a friend I hadn't seen in months so was chuffed and spent good few hours catching up on missed chats, its so nice to catch up with old friends.

After loosing everything on the laptop after a windows live update went wrong, and currupted not only mine but hundreds of peoples acer laptops, One of my friends had posed for me again in the grave yard in Waterloo Place Edinburgh,
were planning on a studio shot, when I eventually get Time to my self which will probably not be till after christmas now the way things are going!

well certainly has been a while since posting!

we have an new addition to the family, paul reckons he couldn't resist him, altough im not sure of him but am sure he will grow on me he is just so tiny, he is a horned lizard and rare! Paul and his sister has named him Damien,
as u can tell he already been out and had his pics taken
I was at the edinburgh festival fireworks on sunday 31st August despite the fact it was heaving it was good, i really enjoyed the music but have decided princess street isnt the answer for the best pictures as the fireworks are let off from the front of the castle so we get loads of effect from the smoke but still pretty good effects
have to re think my plan for next year

finally i entered a pet comptition and am so chuffed as two of my pets have made it to the top 12(in differet caterogies so im pleased just need everybody to support ,me and help me win now

Ive been way busy this week and have had a great week!
It was my friends sons birthday
so I spent the day with them, and was there for him opening his presents
and off course I had my trusted camera again! He had ball, AAron and his Mum ended up going to Mill Farm amd I wished I had gone http://www.livingstonalive.co.uk/almondvalley.shtml it looked like it was a great day despite the rain.

I think Aarons favourite present was his huge water gun

We also went bowling with aaron and Katrina which was a great day out! I hadnt been bowling for ages so really enjoyed it
back to reality and back to work got a lot to pay out for especially in the month of october!!

I Have started christmas shopping well only a little but seen and thought it was the perfect present for my best friend well part of her present

Edinburgh Festival parade 08

well never again will i follow my instinct! we went to see Batman (a dark knight) and believe me I really wished I hadnt bothered! I knew in the begining it was my type of film but wanted to be in the gang and go and see it, And also cause I love Heath Ledger I thought that would make it ok, But it wasnt I hated it, I didnt hate the film I more hated the type of film as Im normally a chick flick girlie or kids film fan Paul says 12's are to much for me checky so and so,

anyway Heath played a really good joker! RIP Heath but for once scared the livning daylights out of me!

we also went to see Wall.e on Monday now that my kinda of film its about a cute little robot that tidies up the earths waste after us humans Im not going to tell you any more as it will ruin it for you!!!! but that was way more my kind of film and loved every minute of it

Callandar Highland games 26th July 08

Wow what a big differnce from Burntisland Highland Games! they Both have there good and bad points but we had a great day out!

My pal and I had a great time cheering on the heavy weights whilst My uncle and Paul sat and concentrated on who was winning and whose round it was typical but never mind

My pal kinda liked Scott rider from England and was really disapointed to hear he was married so then we both turned to cheering on Gregor Edmunds for Scotland Go Gregor GO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Scott rider

between us we were camera happy, mine went closer so had to send her images lol just to remind her of the scottish guy!!!!!!!! where as at Burntisland everything is within the ring and there is alot of fairground rides, At Callandar they had things going on across the different fields which we couldnt possibly be in more than one place at a time but we werent bothered and sat and enjoyed our picnic,

At Callandar, they do what they call local heros where they get members of the public to certain heavy weight events for prise money! there was quite a few guys who gave it there best shot!

me and pal loved the honda gold wing trikes and had to have our picture taken on them, just to show what big kids we are but we had a ball lol

Burntisland Highland Games 21st july 08

On Monday 21st July My Uncle and I went to Burntisland games,(fife) it was so hot for once its normally cold or raining, but amzingly it was hot, I got Badly sunburnt there and it must have been the worse yet, as I couldnt move and was petrified of getting blistered! Thank fully it didnt come to that, apart from bright red burnt skin,and I peeled for days now I know how my reptiles feel when they shed, at least mine was once they shed once a month,

I supose for the last few years Ive not really paid attention to the games but i really enjoyed them this year and was fasinated with the shut putt throwers, im so glad that there were wearing shorts as many of my pics would have showed everything just way embarassing!!!!!

At Burntisland there many things to keep me occupied and my eyes set on things! they have everything to do with the games in the centre ring, so we could see everything. there were highland dancers,cyclist racing, runners, heavy weight champs etc!!!! and lots of men of kilts :) they also had a mixture of fairground rides which seemed to keep the younger ones occupied

the best bits were sitting and chilling after breakfast looking onto the beach, it certainly brought many a great memory,I wnet there loads and kids and loved staying in my uncles caravan at Pettycur bay caravan park (Kinghorn) and spent many a day on the beach and in the paddling pool which due to youths throwing in glass, has now been filled and they have what u call water fountains that spurt up and the kids run through them, it also bought back memories of my Granddad walking miles with me to get water,well what seemed like miles and looking now the tide does go out quite far when its out, nowt was ever a hassle for him when it came to me!!!Miss u loads granddad x x x x (not me and my uncle in the pic)

We ended the day with a tradional fish and sausage supper from the best chippy in fife Romamoes, Ive loved this chippy ever since I was wee,

Hadn't been here in so long well about 5 years since I took the girls from my Brownie Pack that I used to run, I tooK Paul as he hadnt been there before so I decided it was time to go and drag Paul my only regret was leaving it till 2pm to go but I had been on night shift the night before but am looking forard to going back again any excuse to get my camera out and click away :)
my favourite wa sthe griaffes i adore them and as Edinburgh zoo dont have them I certainly mad the most of it and snapped away quite happily

As the saying goes tomorrow will be a better day! things have started looking up after a bad few days of diasters and much more, but fingers crossed its gone for now,

I go Through phases of going to the cinema and either go loads or not go in months
recently I have been to see 27 dresses, certainly wont be rushing out to buy it on dvd

I also went to see Sex and the city with my neighbour and my sister in law which was brilliant, (will wait for the dvd to be cheaper rather than buyingit straight away)

one film i loved was mama mia and loved the music (have to admit im abba fan)
so cant wait to get that on dvd, so I can Have agreat excuse for a girlie nite:) get the popcorn ready!

Recently a few people some friends and some not have lied to me about various things, i dont understand why people feel the need to lie especially when lies no matter how small or big get found out!!

I have also had promises made but they have broken which is nowt unusal these days its must be a month to find out what some people are like and theres seems to be something in the air causing an atmosphere and also a big grey cloud hanging around hope it goes away soon!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

RACE FOR LIFE 2008

my friend and i completed the race for life in falkirk
@callendar park we thought it was going pour down,
but the rain came just as we were starting and then the sunshine came out, and of course tatty joined us as were tatty mad.

this is the 3rd time ive done this race now and power walk for my grandad and everyone that has/had cancer my garndad sadly passed away a few years ago and i know he watches down on me everytime i do the race for life and looks down on me with pride...........miss u loads xxxx

What was happening 10 years ago - 10 years ago i was 19 and happy, with probably 80% of everything i had just started my first year of the NNEB diplomia in nursery nursing and wa sin the girls brigade as an officer and also helped run the local brownie pack went to a small village church back then where i knew everybody and they knew me!!!
I had more male friends rather than girlie friends
never thought id be back in scotland living

5 things to do today -

1) starting the house work
2) putting friends stuff on freecycle for her
3) doing my wii fit
4) Go to post office for a parceluploading pics from free cycle
5) having strawberries and cream

Snacks CHOCOLATE and now fruit lol and tea

What would i do if i was a millionaire buy a new house so i could have me studio and craft room and eveything else i need and want? also my convertiable car maybe even buy my other half a treat

Well as the title says not been up to much this week, I have been working in maternity ward at the local hospital also eldery rehab ward altough my favourite is the maternity altohough it makes me so broody but the babies are so adoreable.

Back at medical photography tomorrow so cant wait im really enjoying my time there learnt so much and been to photograph so many differnet medical things from threatres to every day deremtology problems to powerpoints and taking photos of the instruments for various departments cant thank the staff enough for there help and encouragement

we had came here to visit a friend of mine, which ended up being a great time, my friend has 4 children for whom I totally adore!! (they give the bestest of hugs)
They see me as an adopted aunty:)
funniest thing was I was woke up to find the two youngest ones sneaking under the covers and cuddling in to me, the wee boy was so helpful and rubbed sun lotion into my red shoulders and kept telling me it was fine and he would make me all better how sweet:

Me and there mum had a ball in the sea and boy I felt like a big kid again loved being in the water, which was so clear and such a lovely clean beach!!!!!!!!!!

Gardening Scotland 08

I was lucky enough to be one of the official photographers for Gardening Scotland 08, through the camera club that I go too, I had managed to go on the Thursday (setting up day) and the first opening day which was the friday, unfortunatley it was peeing down with rain but certainly didnt stop the crowds pouring in to the event.

its amazing how the crowds make a difference to the event and ur pushing ur way through the crowds to see the stalls etc but certianly gives the feel of a good astmosphere and that everybody enjoying the day out,

my only downfall is i dont know the first thing about flowers what they are and how to look after them but love the colors shapes and smells from the flowers

Concerts and Medical photography

I was at the back street boys concert last sunday at Glasgow SECC it was ok! i went with my friend as she had no one to go with she had a ball singing at the top of her voice and was extremelly excitied at being there she had waited 10 years to get to see them.

for the last week i have been doing my placement at the nedical photography department in st Johns Livingston i have had a great week and learnt so much since being there and have seen a differnet side to photography than what im used too, also seen it to a differnet side of the medical profession as i normally work on the wards, I cant thank the staff enough for there help and support over the last week of going there, unfoutmatley i cant show any pictures as i have to repsect patient confidentualty!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Katrina, Aaron and I went to the zoo on tuesday and had a ball!!!! it was lovely and sunny and great time for ice cream and ice lollies,

Aaron loved all the animals but the zebras had to be his favourite, i had to many favourites to mention, just swapped pics with katrina and she got mine too now just to scrap them!!!!!!!! going to do an 8x8 album of the zoo (too many pics to choose from) and now have few more i took just over a thousand images from the daya nd got it down to 700!!!!!!!!!! def not scrapping them all just the good ones

A couple of weeks ago I visited Linlithgow one of my favourite places just to go and chill out and for easy photos lol the swans must think "not again" yet they still pose for me and so easy to capture. Of course i rewarded them with loads of bread which they loved!!

I was so cuffed the other day and seen a family of Deer in the woods next to my house so was quite happy, yet to catch them on on camera but I will keep trying!

have been busy doing my scarpbookin and done 7 pages in one day unfortnaltley I cant find cable for camera to computer so will upload them at another time

Don't Stop Me Now!

no its not the song from Queen but it did give the inspiartion to go................ after my fear of driving to Glasgow there is no stopping me :) I went last thursady when I wanted to go to Braehead shopping centre and I got there in one piece and actually enjoyed the journey and those of that no me will know that im good at getting lost but i will make u all faint as I didnt get lost at all and was so proud of my self, not only for getting there but for finding my fav shop whilst there.
altough i ended up spending money i didnt care, i did end up buying one of these bags yet again think i have more than Ikea themselves lol
anyhoos i went back to glasgow yesterday and took my friend into the dolls house shop so she can now get on with doing upher doll's house
we had a lovely chinese and then popped into hobby craft another of my fav shops shocked me self with only spending £10!!!!!!!!!!!! i THINK THERE WILL BE JOURNEYS TO COME

well after 8 years of avoiding driving to Glasgow I had to do it today, we had to take two cars and pick up my In laws and boy I have been panicking all night about the journey, but it was ok got there in one piece and actually panic free. Unfortunatley the only thing I hated was following my partner, he was driving to fast and indicated when he was at turn off, yet he moans at every one else doing it.

all i need to do now is keep driving there and get more confidence in driving there and away I will go

finally lambs (my fav sign of spring but not to eat)are here there and every where only been waiting 2 or 3 weeks and had seen a few before now but they were to far away for me to photography and wouldnt go back as they we be older lambs

well its so nice to see the buds coming through in time for the Easter Season, i just love the new signs of spring coming through,

i had take a wonder through almondell country park in west lothian and loved the peaceful walk by self and having my camera by my side.

well I dont normally cook but thought id better make an effort and cook for paul this year,

my god I was stressing asking everyone one how they cook steak, wiv me not liking steak i didnt have clue what to do or how it should look!

after seing Gordon Ramseys cook along i realised then thats what I wanted to make for valentines dinner missing the scallops out!!

finally i got my butt into gear and made dinner id made gammon steaks for me! and steaks for paul and thankfully they all turned out really well! i forgot to bug ingrediants for the choclate moose so made angel delight instead!

this has been one of my all time favorite films every since i was younger and have always loved the music in it and the dancing and most of all patrick swayze!!!!

i went to see the musical with my mum and her friend andf loved every minute of it , still the think the orginal film is the best though!!

well worth going to see the musical and the main dancer was a good look a like of patrick swayze so guess i could not complain

I have been down in banbury (oxfordshire) visiting my parents which was ok but 4 days days is long enough!! my parents also came back with us for 3 days which went fine just glad to have my home back to normal and my own breathing space

My dad drove us down to Weymouth (dorset) and it certainly brought back many memories from when i went as a child on family holidays the weather wasnt bad overcast when we got there amd then it brightened up!!!!

on the 23rd august my friend and i went to Edinburgh Botantic gardens and it was such a lovely sunny day, and boy did we act like kids but didnt care, as usual i took loads of pictures and even got my friend into taking pics and thinking about the pictures she took!!! she came home home with amazing results

I got my self a 10ft trampoline and its great!! paul built it for at 11pm last thursday, and ive been on it every chance i can get the weather turned a bit rainy or should i say a down pour for a few days.

I also have to fight my cat for it as she loves running and jumping on it and staying in the midle of the jump mat silly cat!! ive even bounced slightly whilst she been on it and she just sits there like she rules!!

Of course my sister in law has been on it, and my friends wee boy!!

I did my 5th weddin as the photographer on friday and they all came out really well and pauls sister came to help me which she was agreat hand!!! and the sun came out in time for the photos which was good

monday paul and went up to Bathgate hills and walked up the binney craig and captured the sunset!!! i just love taking pics of the sunsets and go at every opportunity

meteorite shower 12th August 2007

Sunday the 12th was menat to be the best night to see the meteorite shower, which had started on the thursday 9th. best place was meant to the cairngorms, the visitor centre was doing tours for 25.00 a head, which i refused to pay and plus the cloud cover wasnt worth it if we had paid.

Paul and I went up last night (sunday) to Braemar after umming and arring to where could be the best place for us! after sitting up in glen shee near the ski slope we moved a s the mist had fallen and we couldnt see in front of us!

We seen 18 shooting stars and 10 satelites, it wa slovely but the weather could have so much better, w e had a huge square clear patch with stars, unfortunalety the shooting stars were shooting of either side of the view i had with my camera and when i moved the camera they shot the other way, typical altough i did get a pic of the stars movemnet, i had heard of this at college but didnt believe it till i captured it myself
and was chuffed to bits.

On the way home Paul had done an emergency stop in the car to find a stag standing next to us
and again by the time i farted ABOUT GETTING THE CAMERA THE STAG HAD BEEN STARTLED WITH ANOTHER CAR

we had two lovely days of sun shine! Wednesday my friend and I sat out in the garden with the kettle constantly going for tea and we both ended up getting burnt shoulders oops.

Thursday was also nice but not as hot, I went to yellowcraigs beach (nr North Berwick) with my friend, her man and her 8 year old! we had a great time playing in the sand , dancing along the beach and also singing, I will keep the song to my self a sits rather embaraassing! but never mind, her man decided to pretend he didnt know me and my friend

Another busy week

sorry not updated this in a while been so busy!

well I have not been this sociable since years ago! i have basically been out every day/night last week doing various things and meeting up with friends. and keeping an eye on my uncle who had a fall thankfully ok now.

we went to see the simpsons movie which was good but not as good as I thought it would be.

I have been to Lunch with my sister in law well she made Lunch!

this is me and my best mate but as usual my eyes shut and she refused to sit any longer and have her pic taken

this is my sister in law, not pulling her usual pose for a change

I had a scrappin day with me and my sister in law which she loved and we both completed two pages and ate Paul's macaroni cheese (which i must say is the best)

I also visited a friend and had a good girlie catch up

Linda don't faint here but i also drove to cumbernauld twice (this is my first time driving there Paul usually takes me through and picks me up!!) Guess what i didn't get lost well i tell a white lie but it wasn't lost, i arrived at the end of a street and had no clue and phoned my pal up who gave me directions, much to my amazement i went to turn round in a street that was of this road and there was her house!! not bad for me!!!!

the 2nd visit was even better as i got there and home without phoning anyone!!! must be getting better me and my best mate had decorated her bedroom think there was more paint on me than anywhere else lol but at least its painted i took her top get matching accessories too.

If anyone knows me especially Linda you will know how bad my sense of direction is!!!!:)

I also went to Edinburgh on Wednesday night with my friend and meet another 10 photographers and spent the evening taking pics from the parliment buildings and the royal mile, it was a pleasent evening and much enjoyed!!

Saturday seen us at the air show at East fortune air museum,Nr Edinburgh, altough the previous years have been much better than this, it didnt stop me from taking nearly 900 photos narrowed down to 700 i must say most of these pics are of the red arrows my all time favourite!!
I do not really get over excited about going but go as paul is into his planes and loves going, and as he takes me to all my craft shows and never complains about it, so i go along with to the air shows, and the leave the modeling areoplane shows to him and his dad!

I just take my camera and happy with that!!!

Firstly I must thank Linda for letting me come and play on Wednesday I had a great time! and can't wait to do this again, Maybe you should come to me Linda next time and maybe Paul will get some jobs done!! but then again maybe not I know what he like, he will happily play his xbox with the excuse that he would only get in the way! thanks Linda for cutting out the pianos for me on ur craft robo!! there great!
I know Roz kindly showed me how to use the alcohol inks but I just couldn't get the hang of it, until Wednesday @Linda's and my god I'm no longer chucking out the alcohol inks as I'm in love with them now thanks Linda for showing me again have so many plans including alcohol inking Paul's xbox although i don't think he'd be to pleased but next time we have an argument believe me the xbox will get it!!!:)
I manged to complete two pages at Linda's which I was happy with! finally got the Autumn pages done from last year!

I have also been back to kirkcaldy with my great uncle again! were very close and whilst I'm of college i try and spend as much as possible with him as i know when I'm @college I hardly see him, he took me to ravenscraig park which was so lovely and peaceful and we walked for miles, his poor knees will certainly be giving him grief over the next few days!! but as he says he thinks of places i can photograph! and never complains
we walked to a place called Dysart which had beautiful habours and beachy bits with so much to photograph, from wildlife to things washed up on the beach (like the washed up wheel)

we also visited the new hovercraft which was doing a two week trial taking passengers between Kirkcaldy and Portabello and again i took even more photos, then if that wasn't enough we walked even more to go and see the seals I've waited years to see them!! as my uncle has spoke of them often!! (Linda u would love it where we was plenty photo opportunities)

this was created in photoshop using instructions from Becky on UKS bridgit had also made a template for us to use but it kept carshing the computer, so i jsut followed Beckys instructions and came out with the above results now looking forward to getting it printed 12"x12" for my scarpbooking album!!

I am going to put anotther boarder around the outside the collage and then do a page on the actuall day out from college as this wa san opportunity we couldnt miss and i love dthe passenger 4 seater plane no where as scary a sthe huge plane we got to Fuertventura cant wait till our next trip!

we visited Lilithgow palace today one of my favourite places to visit just to chill and relax and obviosly take photos, had alovely lunch in my favourite cafe and then got on photographing the birds. this has been one of my fav places sinnce 6 years ago, my other half hates it as he is there lots with work and dreads it when i say lets go to Linlithgow!

If the heavens were going to open I known it would have been Saturday night of all nights!! we were at the Bryan Adams concert At Murryfield rugby stadium we stood for an hour in the que just waiting to get in, by which point we were drenched anyway!!!
after watching support bands for 3 hours Bryan Adams finally came on at 830, altough i knew what songs he was gonna sing when I had a ball, and loved every minute of it, despite getting even wetter by 11pm, it still made my and many other girls night to be there.

Butterfly and Insect world

Today Linda and i went off to the butterfly and insect world at Dalkeith (Edinburgh),
this was our back up plan as Linda was keen to go on a landscape photoshoot but due to the typical scottish weather we went with the butterfly world.
We both had a great day and took lots and lots of photos, even after my camera deciding not to work after a few huffs and puffs and going back to the car the camera then decided to work,

this is my third time there but never got the same picture twice whilst there and always see different butterflies.
Linda and I were tempted to mug the poor guy that had the canon 1d, we both thought he was a pro but after a converstaion found out he just did it as a hobby, Linda and i agreed that he just had to much money and like every photographer wanted and needed the best of the best, (don't worry Linda our time will come for ours!) his poor wife (carried all his stuff for him) and looked so bored, this reminded me of my boyfriend following me around on my photography excursions only one difference is i still have to carry my own things and not like this man's wife my boyfriend actually has a secret eagerness to play and take photos too! (apart from when im out at a garden or the botanical gardens, just not his thing) sometimes better than mine and his are just fluky shots from someone that dont worry about apeature, shutter speed or even getting the correct exposure, thats what I get for learning all the proper ways at college, must start taking my other memeory card just for him!!!

Child hood memories

On monday my Uncle took us for dinner and went from a stroll along pettycur bay (kinghorn Fife) and it ceratinly brought back memories from when i stayed in England and visited my uncle in his caravan at pettycur bay!!, i spent many an afternoon playing on this beach and walking my dogs at night on this beach!!! also climbing the rocks with my dad

Ive recently got into swapping these tiny cards!! they cost £10.00 for 100, so far i have swapped at least 50 and using a set of 10 to show people quickly some of my work especially the guys at my boyfriends work (no way would they get there hands on my portfolio and get it messy) so these cards come in handy for that.
so far ive swapped the cards with people from america and england!! gonna make a mini album that i can extend to store them in. many others use them for

not been up to much the last few days as ive four nights at work luckly im on number 3 tonight thank god, im in maternity tonight so that will be good just come home very broody!!! much to pauls disgust although his opinion has changed recently from not wanting kids he doesnt to we will see what happens once im finished college!!!!

just been looking at my strawberries and wow there early ready still slighty on the green side!! esepcially underneath

and my sunflowers are getting slowy but surely!! i did plant 12 but have only ended up with 2 left, just wnat them to flower soon!! as there another of my fav flowers and cant wait to photograph them in my portable studio

wow ive been on the reserve list since november to go and see Take That in Birmingham and got the phone call today to say I have a Ticket for there concert in November im so excited just waititng for mummy to pay for me now!!! then i can owe her the money back!!!!

Ive been a fan of theres since the begining and am meeting up with lady i first went with, who seen me then as a very shy teenager wow she will be shocked to see me now as im not so shy aymore!!!! still shy but no way as bad!!

Rain Rain and more Rain!!

All its done is rain here the last few weeks!!! its driving me up the wall although it did my grass and plants good the grass was like a jungle even my cat got annoyed when i manged to cut it!!!

we had a little sun today which was really hot and as soon as i left Fife the heavens opened!!
but the rain and sun together can bring something nice"the rainbow"

I got these from our Local Paper Mill shop!! fell in love with them staright away also ordered the happily ever 8x8 album which I am pitting away for when I come back from californa, thought it fitted in well with the disney theme from Disney land. world park that is in calfornia! Im not sure what im going to use these papers for but am sure i will find something!

also bought some friends stamps this morning from the shop in Kirkcaldy (fife)

we also have another new member to our family mush to my disgust as im petrified of them, My partner went to the pet shhop and stupid me believed and didnt think anything of it when he told me to get what i want for the rabbit and he would pay, when i went to find him i realsied that the shop owner was handing him a small box, when i asked what it was i nearly fainted it was a snake! which im so petrified off!! i couldnt belive he actually got one!! couldnt say no when he has turned round tp the guy and said he would take him. the snake is 2 weeks old

He got a western hognose snake and i really upset a si refused to take pics of him and do any scrap booking on him!!!and so i didnt upset paul anymore i wa sbrave and took pics well from a distance and zoomed in!!! and supoose nowi will have too scarp them but want/ need better pics of him!!!

well I'm all excited I went to see Bryan Adams back in May at Glasgow SECC and loved every minuted of it hes been my all time favourite since 15 year ago but never had the chance to go and see him till recently, what made it extra special was the fact it was the first concert that my boyfriend and i had gone together, (we hate each others taste in music) It was totally amazing.

I worked my butt off the last two week, but after paying my share of the bills and all that i never had enough for the tickets to see Bryan again this month at Murryfield in Edinburgh, My great partner came home on Friday with two tickets for standing!!! you've never seen anyone so happy so i cant wait ,its really cheered me up!!!!!! although he has put conditions on them i have to behave and not give him cheek and stop moaning at him :) I've even done the dishes every day since he bought them without complaining.

I have also been looking after my sister in laws animals whilst the in laws are away!!!! and decided to raid the boxes in there garage that belonged to us!!! and came across boxes and boxes full of photos my god Ive loads to scrap!!! and brought back lots of memories

going to take Paul's and his dads pet snake portrait well if I'm brave enough i know i will freak out and run away but the snake is getting older so i wanna do it for his dad mainly as its the last snake of about 10!!!! and his dad is proud of this snake

yesterday I popped into Jessops to find there closing the smaller shops and had huge clearance sale on! i bought myself one of these Centon spotting scopes for £80.00 Instead OF £199.99, its handy for taking pics of the moon also which for personal resons is one of my favourite subjects so cant wait to get out and play!!!!!!

Thanks to Linda for lending me her lens fnally got out wiv it today!!!! and went to Kirkcaldy to meet my uncle and wnet to beveridge park boy did it bring back childhood memories but was a great day out wiv results of some pics.

well what a weekend of good news!!

firstly i have completed college and have been told unofficially that i have passed with flying colours!! so onwards to the HND now!! to continue my career in photography!!!

My 2nd lot of good news is Paul and I have finally set our wedding date, its only taken 6 and half years! :) shocking I know but at least its going to happen now.

we were also asked if we wanted go to califonia in 2009 as both my inlaws are turning 50 and Paul and I will be turning 30 at the begining and end of the year, so were going to celebrate our birthdays, his parents are paying for us to go, the flights and vila, so we decided to get married over there too but in a visit to Las vegas and get married there,

I am already planning what i am going to see and what I want to do also going to make a planner to start palnning just need inspiration!!! and materails!!!

whilst I busy with the underwater stuff i also did another bit which is more a less playing with light we had to capture movement in light the college name it 'chronolography' really enjoyed this one but have tons of ideas to do more of a simular kind of photography just getting my resources together!

Well today im shattered although I fisnihed college on friday just had the last few bits to hand in and done that today so thats me done! will hand in tomorrow morning just got the last lot of prints

College Over

thought id share this picture with you it was taken thursday moprning at 0.32am I suffer from insomina and had been good for 3 months and have slept like a baby but unfortunatley wednesday night i just couldnt sleep at all and seen this through my window and just had to take a pic. ( I was awake all night and never slept at all) unfortunaley 10 mins late the rain clouds came and ruined the nice pink sky.

well i cant believe thats another year over with college, we had our nite out on thursday which was really enjoyable and took lots of pics so have some to scrap and some to put in my friends albums.

I had my interview for the diploma course and have been accepted into stevensons college in Edinburgh which is the one I wanted to go too. so that will be another year to look forward too Im jumping straight into the 2nd year.

unfortunatley I am on nights tonight and last night so wont get much scrapping done altough I did make my dad's card for tomorrow will make my father in laws tomorrow once I get up.

Linda thanks for lending me ur lens all ive used it for at the moment is taking a pic of my flower which is dying, im gutted we paid £20.00 for two and they lasted 5 days. the weather is just not photo taking weather

what busy week its been. paul and Iwent for a drive on wednesday and drove 150 miles return journey it was a lovely evening and so sunny,I even managed to squeeze some photography in which always makes me feel good.

We finally got up in the plane to take our photography shots from the air (through college)abouslety brilliant and had a great time up there cant wait till I go back again and do it all again(monday 11th July 2007)

college exhibition

well tonight we had our college exhibition, i had one print up most people had one to three prints but as i was of for a few days they didnt know which to put out.

never the less im really chuffed as i walked in with my friend tonight to find out that i had sold a picture twice so im chuffed as its one of my favourite pics so must run into Edinburgh and get it printed.

Gardening scotland

With every intention of going to gardening Scotland to get my mother in law something for her birthday with the instructions from my partner not to buy anything tacky.
my friend and i finally suceeded!! and got my mother in law a few bits and bobs for her gardening and also dome lily bulbs which is her favourite cut flower!

I also couldn't resist and taking my camera as flower photography is one of my most loved subjects to photograph and can sit for hours taking the photos of them..

there was hundreds of lilies at the show!! which i just had to photograph and didnt realise just how many different varieties there were.

I also liked the poppy and had captured it just after they had been watered also found some blue poppieswhich i didnt know had exisited and loved them to bits.

there was this amazing blue flower at the show, which im now on the hunt, to get them for my garden, and i totally loved them. but would rather grow them from scratch.The next lot of pictures are of friends wee girl who had a great time too she pushed my mother in laws trolley all round the show and wasn't scared to push people out of the way if she needed passed,

she had various comments on how cute she looked pushing the pink trolley and also promoted the pink ones, she had carried her dolls in the trolley along with her water and her sungalsses.

we had heard a band there and my friends wee one had stopped for at least 45 mins just dancing to the music with the trolley in tow and her teddies it was really funny to see and she just stood putting one foot in front of each other and swaying her hips.

this was a huge polar bear that she found and she totally adored him, putting her teddies on his knees and cuddling him, she had her own wee convesation with him pressing his nose and even shared her dunny with him. we all couldnt stop laughing whne she had put her wrist strap on him and tried to make him come home with her.

Also been to the garden centre and got some seeds for my garden and hopefully by setpember I will have lovely coloured flowers to photograph, which i find i buy seeds to give mne great colorful flowers that I can later photograph.

Better decide what im taking tonight and go and pick linda up!! (its craft Nite)

My new rabbit (Storm)

thought id include some pics of my new rabbit "Storm" we got her on Monday 29th May she weighs 1.5lb, and is grey and white shes a small (lop) with droopy ears but the cutest.

already taken loads of pics of her since monday poor thing probably wnating peace from photos, she does love lots of cuddles.

I am hoping i will get my own way and keep her in the house, will just need to give my other half the puppy dog eyes till he says yes! my house is gradulally beging to be like a zoo just like my child hood days. but how could i refuse such a cutie, already got my scrap page planned for her.

Well finally got round to setting up a blog and putting some stuff down, hopefully I can keep it updated on a regular basis and keep you all updated.

Am hoping to go back to college and do my diplomia in Photography just been studying for the last 2 years in a subject which ahs been inmy heart since i was child, although back then they were snap shots and mainly just of people and all my animals back at home, hopefully now there improved greatly and i dont just take pics of my pets and friends.
